FAQ

Catamaran Sea Chateau Rates FAQ's.

  • Where do we fly to?

Your BVI cruise can start and end in St. Thomas, start and end in the BVI, start in St. Thomas and end in the BVI or start in the BVI and end in St. Thomas. Available airports are: Cyril E. King in St. Thomas, Beef Island in Tortola , Virgin Gorda Airport and, in high season (November to March) there are seaplanes landing in North Sound, Virgin Gorda, coming from St. Thomas. We highly recommend this option for the best way to start your BVI cruise. Starting in North Sound and ending in St. Thomas will give you the advantage of mostly downwind sailing and the possibility of visiting the largest number of islands. We will pick you up in our dinghy and you can start enjoying the beautiful water immediately.

  • Which islands will we visit?

Please see our experience page for more info.

  • Where will we meet the boat?

Our preferred ports of embarkation and drop off are:

Yacht Haven Grande Marina, St. Thomas.

    Soper’s Hole, West End, Tortola.

    Trellis Bay, Beef Island.

Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour, Virgin Gorda.

If you wish to visit Anegada during your cruise, we highly recommend that you start or end your cruise in Virgin Gorda. Contact us for more details.

  • Should we bring cash, do they take US dollars?

Local currency is the US $. Most establishments in the islands accept credit cards but frequently there can be power and/or network outages that limit their ability to process electronic payments. It is convenient to bring with you enough cash to cover any additional expenses you might incur on. Feel free to ask you crew for details.

  • What is the maximum number of guests?

    Six.

  • Is there a half board option?

Yes. there are different plans. Please contact us and we will be glad to send you a personalized quote.

  • Do you offer charters of less than a week?

Yes. A minimum of five days is recommended in order for you to get to visit the most important islands. Please contact us and we will be glad to send you a personalized quote.

“Thank you so much for a wonderful Thanksgiving and another fantastic family vacation. The food was amazing! And the girls picked up kneeboarding so quickly! We’ll have to see how they do at wakeboarding next time. We are all so grateful for these wonderful family trips and your kindness and patience with the little ones. It was so relaxing and the views and sunsets were spectacular. Thanks again”
