Arrival in Yacht Haven Grande Marina, St. Thomas. Get settled into your cabin, put on your swimsuit and enjoy the short Sail to Christmas Cove, St. James Island. Great snorkeling. Swim with turtles and eagle rays. Beautiful sunsets, maybe a green flash.
Sail from Christmas Cove to Francis Bay, St. John. Enjoy any of the gorgeous beaches: Maho Bay, Cinnamon Bay, Trunk Bay. Take your pick. Hike over to the ruins of a colonial Sugar Mill and enjoy some great snorkeling in Whistling Cay. Tip: don’t miss the turtles in the north east corner of Francis Bay!
Sail from Christmas Cove to West End, Tortola. Your Captain will clear you into the British Virgin Islands while you enjoy breakfast. Sail to The Bight, Norman Island. Make sure you have a fishing line in the water on the way there. Great snorkeling. Explore The Caves and try out the Dive Gliders in Kelly’s Cove. Enjoy the beach and laid back atmosphere at Pirate’s Bight and do some Kayaking or Paddle boarding. Tip: this is a great place to have lunch on the beach.
Sail from Norman Island to Great Harbor, Peter Island. Enjoy the fabulous beach at Deadman’s Bay. Considered by many, the best beach in the Caribbean! Come back to the yacht in the afternoon for some great snorkeling and water sports in Great Harbor. Try your luck bottom fishing in the early evening. Tip: this is probably a place where you will want to stay and enjoy lunch on the beach.
Early morning sail from Peter Island to The Baths, Virgin Gorda. Explore the famous huge granite boulders and swim in the crystalline waters in Devil’s Bay. Sail to North Sound, Virgin Gorda. Pick a mooring in Leverick Bay, Prickly Pear, Bitter End Yacht Club, Mosquito Island or Saba Rock. Visit these great locations and save some time for some water sports and the Tarpon feeding show in Saba Rock at 5:00 pm. Don’t miss the beautiful sunsets here.
Sail from North Sound to Marina Cay. Pick up a mooring behind the reef and enjoy the breathtaking view. Visit the Pusser’s Store and Beach Bar. This is where it all started! Check out the red telephone booth, long time icon of the BVI. Enjoy the relaxed and laid back Caribbean atmosphere and a couple of Pain Killers. Take a dinghy hop over to Scrub Island or Trellis Bay. Enjoy some snorkeling in Diamond Reef.
Sail from Marina Cay to Great Harbor in Jost Van Dyke. Pick a great mooring for the night. Take a dinghy hop over to White Bay and enjoy a memorable day of swimming in super clear water, walking in white powdery sand and some of the best cocktail sampling, reggae dancing and people watching in the Caribbean. This is home of the famous Ivan’s Stress Free Bar, Soggy Dollar, Coco Loco and you can’t miss enjoying a typical Caribbean lunch at the world renowned One Love Beach Bar. Take a dinghy ride back to the yacht and get ready to go visit the famous Foxy’s. If you’re lucky you might meet Foxy’s himself there and have a chance to listen to some of his great Island stories.
Early sail from Great Harbor to Cruz Bay, St. John. Go in early to clear US Customs and Immigration and come back to the boat for a delicious breakfast. Set sail for St. Thomas. Arrive at Yacht Haven Grande Marina in time to have one last cocktail, take a group photo with the crew and start making plans for your next Sea Chateau BVI adventure. See you soon!
